It’s easier to learn new words when they are photographed in my head. So I made 10 more images of words I want to remember and added some context. As with everything in life; Context is extremely helpful :-) “Il n’y a pas de hors-texte” as Jacques Derrida said . . .
“Rhett, Don’t start flirting with me. I’m not one of your plantation beaus. I want more than flirting from you. Scarlett, What do you want Rhett I’ll tell you, Scarlett O’Hara, if you’ll take that Southern-belle simper off your face. Someday, I want you to say to me the words I heard you say to Ashley Wilkes. I love you Scarlett. That’s something you’ll never hear from me Captain Butler as long as you live.” ~William Clark Gable
Sashay Away: A quote used by RuPaul to eliminate a contestant after losing in a “lip-sync for your life” battle.
“The most holy cannibalism you can perform is to eat the flesh and blood of sagacity, and by sharing it with other wisdom thirsty cannibals.” ~ Michael Bassey Johnson
“The French term déjà vu implies having seen or experienced something in the past that is now being re-created in the present. How about if we change that slightly for those crappy situations in our life to – wait for it! – déjà poo? We can smile and think, Wow, I’m up to my neck in it again!
By taking responsibility for our déjà poo we move from a victim covered in crud to an empowered spiritual being in charge of his or her life. Like everything, it’s a choice. We can keep doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results, and end up with yet another déjà poo experience. Or, we can choose again, deciding once and for all that whatever we are experiencing is something we are going through and beyond.
Be willing to laugh yourself right out of your troubles this week, then rinse and repeat!”

This beautiful word seems not get used anymore at all. It’s seriously antiquated. I love it nonetheless. The only quotation I found is from Alexander Pope: “His house embosomed in the grove, Sacred to social life and social love, Shall glitter o’er the pendant green, Where Thames reflects the visionary scene”
“Stoic ethics is a species of eudaimonism. Its central, organizing concern is about what we ought to do or be to live well—to flourish. That is, we make it a lemma that all people ought to pursue a good life for themselves as a categorical commitment second to none. It does not follow from this that they ought to pursue any one particular version of the good life, or to cling tenaciously to the one they are pursuing. …” ~Lawrence C. Becker
There is a lot of pretty deep shit written about eudemonism. The amount of PDF’s was sheer overwhelming :-)

I learned a new abbreviation: WWAST? (What Would Aristotle Say Today?)
Neverland is the way I would like real life to be … timeless, free, mischievous, filled with gaiety, tenderness, and magic. ~Mary Martin

“The Squirrel”
Whisky, frisky,
Hippity hop;
Up he goes
To the tree top!
Whirly, twirly,
Round and round,
Down he scampers
To the ground.
Furly, curly
What a tail!
Tall as a feather
Broad as a sail!
Where’s his supper?
In the shell,
Snappity, crackity,
Out it fell.
