A few weeks ago I came across Zig Ziglar on Facebook.
He passed away a few years ago yet his Facebook page is still a daily inspiration to a large number of followers. Remarkable!

It is so true. Attitude makes an enormous difference.
I had to laugh when he told the lady from Alabama, to stand in front of a mirror, look herself in the eye and with excitement and enthusiasm state the 22 reasons why she liked her job: “I love my job because they pay me for working there, I love my job because they pay me above average for working there, I love my job because they have a wonderful insurance program,….
What a remedy against stinking thinking!
And what a life lesson. I have bookmarked his speech and anytime I am unhappy with my job – I will watch it, pull out my notebook and write down “I love my job while….”. Actually if today were yesterday I would do it right now. But today is today and I actually love my job today, so there is no need to it immediately :-) But I am sure those days will come again, and when they do, be sure to know that I will write about it.
