Did you ever feel you had a great idea while taking a shower? I think it is almost cliche, but it is a great place just to let your thoughts rain on you.
I retweeted a quote from Deepak Chopra a few days ago that said: “We have approximately 60,000 thoughts in a day. Unfortunately, 95% of them are thoughts we had the day before.” Made sense to me. So crystallizing out that 5% of new thoughts is the interesting challenge, and then seeing how those new thoughts fit with the other 95%. How do they connect? Well, the shower is a fabulous place for that.
What I am actually trying to get at, is that I know what I want to do next with this blog :) For quite some time I’ve been searching for an idea that could spark a movement. A positive movement. A movement people would embrace.
Along my search, I’ve come across a tremendous amount of people that are doing incredible things. People that deserve a big spotlight. People that are doing something worth talking about. Something worth learning about.
Certain people, projects, ideas, movements inspire us to be the best we can be. I want to write about those people. There are quite a few stories like that in this blog already. But so far this blog has been a bit all over the place and it’s time to give it a clearer framework.
Going forward, you can expect to read about people, movements and organizations that are worth embracing. That deserve a big hug for who they are and what they bring to this world. I hope you’ll enjoy a little dose of inspiration. I don’t plan to bombard you – after all time is precious – but I sure hope you’ll enjoy reading and perhaps sharing them. I would love us to create ripples of positivity.
Big hug
