Last week I wrote up my 5 tips to get the most out of your Monday. One of them was to create a Monday playlist. Well, that is what I did this weekend. In German, we would call it a colorful mix. I am as usual slightly all over the place. But I love these songs.
Here my “travel through time and style” Monday starter list:
- Rammstein – Piano version
The link goes to the best YouTube version I could find but hearing it in the original CD quality it is even more impressive
- You’re BeautifuL – James BLunt
- Lilly Wood & The Prick and Robin Schulz – Prayer in C
- It’s just an illusion – Imagination
- Don’t stop me now – Queen
- Kiesza – Hideaway
- Stromae – House’lleluja (Klaas Mix)
- Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars – Uptown Funk
- Robbie Williams – Let Me Entertain You
- AC/DC – Thunderstruck
After this sequence I am right awake that’s for sure :-)
What is your favorite Monday morning song?
Tina says
As you can imagine I start every morning with a couple of songs. This morning it was listening to Biffy Clyro / Revolutions Live at Wembley
Two songs I have on repeat at the moment are two classics from the band Idlewild:
Remote Part / Scottish Fiction
Actually It’s Darkness
I also wrote a very fitting guest blog post for a friend’s blog back in October that is called “My Mixtape Monday – Scotland The Brave”, that has 13 songs complete with personal back ground story and YouTube link. All Scottish as the title says:

Have fun with the tunes :)

So many to choose but I’d recommend:

Last Night by The Strokes
I’ve got a Woman by Ray Charles
