Last week I bought a magazine. It is called Jezus.
It is:
Thought provoking – daring – broad minded – progressive – undogmatic – captivating – experimential – liberal – creative – progressive – refreshing – beautiful – inspiring – Dutch
It makes me proud to be Dutch.
My favorite page in the magazine is this one:
How much can you say with an empty page and just one single hashtag? I was hooked. I am hooked. For me it is not about forgetting or erasing the past. It is more about starting with a clean slate.
“an opportunity to start over without prejudice, fresh start, tabula rasa”
We can give ourselves the gift of forgiving, leaving the past behind, looking forward and being open for the beautiful things to come.
Life is too short
Grudges are a waste of perfect happiness
Laugh when you can
Apologize when you should
And let go of what you can’t change
Love deeply and forgive quickly
Take chances and give everything
And have no regrets
Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets
So love the people who treat you right
Forget about the ones who don’t
And believe that everything happens for a reason
If you get a chance, take it
If it changes your life, let it
Nobody said that it would be easy
They just promise that it would be worth it
Life is too short to be unhappy
You have to take the good with the bad
Smile when you are sad
Love what you got
And always remember what you had
Always forgive but never forget
Learn from your mistakes
But never regret
People change and things go wrong
But always remember
Life goes on.
